How BidSense AI actually works

Straight answers for skeptical first-timers. If anything here sounds like hype, we'd rather you didn't buy.

Will this guarantee I win a contract?

No — and anyone who promises that is selling you something. No tool can guarantee a federal award: contracting officers decide, competition varies, and price, past performance, and relationships all matter.

What BidSense does is remove the grunt work between you and a good bid: finding fitting solicitations, understanding what they actually ask for, finding teaming partners, and drafting a compliant proposal. The bidding judgment stays yours.

How does opportunity matching work?

We pull solicitation data from SAM.gov and compare it against your profile two ways:

  • NAICS alignment — does the solicitation's industry code match the codes on your profile?
  • Capability fit — does the language of your capability statement semantically overlap with the work described?

Scores are weighted combinations of those signals — and on partner results we show you the fit factors behind each suggestion, so it's never a black box.

What the AI can and can't do

It can:

  • Summarize a 200-page solicitation into a bid/no-bid briefing in minutes.
  • Answer questions with citations to the solicitation section behind each claim.
  • Draft proposal sections mapped to the evaluation criteria, with a compliance matrix.
  • Suggest teaming partners whose capabilities overlap the work.

It can't (honest limitations):

  • It can't know what isn't in the documents — when it doesn't know, it says “not stated in this solicitation” instead of guessing.
  • It can't replace reading the solicitation before you sign a bid.
  • It can't verify a partner's claims — check SAM.gov, DSBA, and references yourself.
  • It makes mistakes. Every AI answer shows its citations so you can verify each claim.

Pricing with no asterisks

  • Free: Basic Scout — search, previews, and free tools. No credit card.
  • Pay per opportunity: AI consultation $9, partner research $19–$59, proposal help $29 — each a one-time payment for one solicitation.
  • Full Access: $349/month for everything across all opportunities. Cancel anytime.

Per-opportunity purchases never create a subscription. There is nothing to cancel, nothing auto-renews, and we don't do countdown timers or fake discounts.
